Embers, we're burning bridges down. Our envelopes stuffed with feelings found. To write this down as means to reconcile.
We write to apologize. We ask to look past life as it goes by. I know you have sacrificed time, life, love, time to fly- please, consider all things trite, forgiveness will be the thing that gets us by. I know to have something like this broken, is hard to fix.
We write to patch things up, maybe not to agree but to proclaim love. Let's look ahead and then we'll see the one whose glory never ends. And based on that we'll see, there'll be room for change, but gradually. I know to have something like this broken is hard to fix.
If all is said and done and over, if we don't have to, we're not going to. Make the change, it's worth the try.. what's broken can be fixed tonight. |

Every now and then, we get to the point at which changing in small increments no longer works. Today is one of those days, when you realize that drastic, radical change is necessary. The trouble is, you may lack the audacity for it, in part because you fear how others will react. Don't worry, they are likely to applaud your efforts, as they see very well that your life has been needing a shakeup for a long time. Make a bold move, and you'll get the support you need. |

just a little update of my life:
+ i got accepted into Utah Valley State.
++ one of the colleges i always dreamed of going to, but never thought i'd make it.
- i leave for utah the first week in october.
+++ for the first little while i'll be living with one of the most amazing women in the world. kristen forbes.
++++ who also went to UVSC, and can tell me all the little secrets.
+ all the youth my age here in the church will be out there at BYU.
++ that's right there by UVSC. and by 'right there by it' i mean 5.2 miles. :]
+++ and yes, that includes andrew.
+-+- he leaves for his mission in a year.
+ I have my degree plan all set out.
++ I will have completed all I need to in two years.
+ I have a job lined up for me as soon as i get out there.
++ But while i'm here I have a job down at the YMCA. I teach swim lessons to children ages 2-12.
- I have to wear a bathing suit.
+++ It's a mile and a half away from my house, so i walk there and back, then i do laps during my break.
+ I'm at the pool most my day anyway so I joined the swim team too.
- they are all amazing swimmers who have been swimming for years, and I’m only on my first week.
+ I've been working out.
- I was taking medicine that doesn't really let me eat.
++ I lost ten pounds. eight in one week. five in two days.
- the doctors still are trying to fix me. but they haven't made much progress. it's been three years.
-- they have made some diagnoses, but they can't go about fixing those yet.
--- mostly because there's nothing you can do but take pain killers.
---- but coming the end of august i will have surgery, and we hope that that will do something good.
----- but i try to not let it ruin my life.
+ I have mentally and spiritually grown tremendously in the last six months.
++ I'm pretty much a completly different person.
+++ and because I have become a better person I have had the oppurtunity to be in a relationship that is how every relationship should be. + i get treated with respect. + he makes sure that no one says a bad word around me. + i get appreciated. + he thanks me for everything. + for going with him places. [even though there's not much in this world that i wouldn't pass up to spend time with him] + he's a gentleman + after three months I have still yet to touch a door handle. + i never have to call him, he calls me. + and he does when he says he does. + i only pay when i hide money in his car. + i get encouraged. + he reminded me that UVSC was still an option even though BYU was not. + we go for rides and stop to look out over the mountains. + our opinions are everything in common. + we talk. alot. + we go on the best of dates. and when they don't turn out tlike theyre supposed to- we make the most of it, and have the times of our lives.+ I get along with him better than any other guy i have ever met. + we're best of friends. + I get amazing feelings thinking about how my dad would feel if he had gotten the chance to meet him.
+ speaking of dad: his death was a tragic turning point in my life. and i believe that because of my faith, and how i entrusted my life in god's hands after that, I have been blessed. I don't want to say that my father dying was a good thing.. but so many good things have become of it that i don't believe would have if it weren't for him.
++ He made me strong. and made sure that i never fell away from what i believe in. and i believe that i will see him again when my time comes, and i wouldn hate to dissapooint him in the way i lived my life after he left, so i've done all i can to make him proud. no, he taught me pride was a bad thing- so i must say i've done all i can to make him pleased.
+++ because of his death i have tried to take NOTHING for granted. + i make sure i never go to bed in a fight, I never go with out saying I'm sorry, I love you, or good night. + nothing, not even your pride is worth not getting that second chance. + I see more of the small things. + i look to my trials as blessings. + i grew closer to my savior. + i pray more often. + i finished my Personal Progress.. something he wanted me to do. + I am going to a college that was his second choice for me [i would shoot for the first, but because i didn't take school seriously for the first 3 years, i can not get in.. yet, but after two years of UVSC I can transfer]. + I am dating a guy that upholds all the standards my father had set for me. ++ I was given almost like a second chance at life. a big change took place, so we moved out here, I, myself changed, and things are as i always wished they could be. I believe he's watching, and he's pleased. though i do wish he were here.

- i turn the water on and sit on the side of the tub, until it’s warm enough, then i get in.

- i like to know what im using. yeah i read them. i even try and pronounce the ingredients.

me and chris [after two years, three months, one week, and six days] have officially broken up.
for real.
it's been little over a month now.
and honestly- i am so happy.
he was a good friend,
i cared for him alot.
but there were some rough times.
he's still bitter about it.
so we don't talk anymore.
that depresses me.
but maybe it's for the better.
sooo.. to get back to my horoscope:

i've found this guy [andrew]
he's mormon.
and he has got to be one of the greatest people i know.
we have SO much in common.
down to the weirdest quirks about our habits and personalities.
he is so amazing.
i simply can not explain it.
we're just really good friends.

oregon is awesome.
the weather is going to take a little getting used to.
but school is great.
first period= i TA for a health class. [teacher's assisstant. - which means i run like two errands, and then i just sit around and listen.]
second= i have painting II.. haha i can't remember the last time i had an art class, and then they put my into the second level of painting. it's fun, i get to paint. right now we're working on two huge murals [i don't know if that's the right spelling or not.] that are going up into the hospital that's being built in our town. oh! and i have tht class with amanda- so pretty much we laugh and goof off for the whole class.
then is lunch. it's a bit early. 10:35. that's crazy.
third= i have business law b. but i've already taken that class. so my teacher is working on getting me some kind of special course due to the fact that there are no other options for me during third.
fourth= i have 'film as lit'. that's my english class. yeah that's right- i get credit for learning about and watching movies.
fifth= i TA for a french II class. it's really fun because the teacher is so looney. and they're all speaking french and i have no idea what is going on.
prom is coming up sometime in may. i don't have a date yet. but i have a feeling that there's someone who may ask me. :] my fingers are crossed.
i love this place.
my life: i can not complain.
it has it's ups and downs.
but i love it.
i miss you all.

school is out for the day,

AWESOME!!

thursday=
went to drop tyler off at our rec center thing a few towns away-
a trip that was supposed to take half an hour..
took us TWO HOURS!!
oh my gosh it was stressful and crazy.
so i dropped him off.
went tanning.
he decided he wanted to stay the weekend
[i was dropping him off to meet up with our step brothers and their mom]
so i make my way 'home'..
again-
a trip that was supposed to take me half an hour-
but this time it only took me an hour and a half.
and the only reason i got back home was because of kenny.
he was my HERO!!
let me tell you this guys-
that boy is awesome!!
because of him i got home safely.

friday=
me, amanda, chris, and andrew went to the goodwill and goofed around a bit. fun stuff.
andrew and chris.. we're HALARIOUS. oh my gosh.
but i'll leave it at that- for their sake.
then we went to this AMAZING park. oh my gosh, you wouldn't believe how cool this thing is!! it was dark out, and the park is technically closed, but we snuck in anyway.
but it was amazing.!!

we decide to go to that park that we went to friday night
and let me tell you this is the BEST PARK EVERRRR.
but on our way up there this cool cop decides to stop us and tell us that we can't.
no fun.
so we decide to go back to chris's and start a movie.
but we didn't get to finish it.
but it was still an awesome time.
gosh i love those boys.
sunday-
went to church.
me and amanda went to chris's house for an early dinner.
then we [me, amanda, and chris] went and picked andrew up
and headed out to a neighboring town to pick tyler up from our step borthers' mom's apartment [we call her our 'side step' mom].
we hang out there,
she makes brownies and wants us to stay,
then her visiting teachers came,
and we stayed for that.
then when they left, we left.
we had a BLAST.

school.
nothing else fun.
tonight=

they had NO sweaters!!
it's fourty degree weather and theyre not selling sweaters or anything.
so after the mall we [me, andrew, tyler, and amanda] decide to go to the park [same as the one previously mentioned].
well honestly-
it was too cold to play.
so tyler fooled around a bit,
amanda stayed in the jeep and did her homework,
and me and andrew just stood there FREEZING!!
i LOVE it here.
everyone is amazing.
the school is awesome.
church is splendid.
and my new friends.. whew don't even get me started- they ROCK.
as you can see.
i'm loving life.
and i'm so excited-
mom and cory should FINALLY be here thursday.
it's been like two weeks since i've seen my mom.
and quite honestly-
three teenage kids living on their own in a town that they are completly new in-
is kinda challenging.
but we're bonding.
and we're loving life.
